We do this by offering services, such as airport pickups, holiday hosting, temporary housing, conversation partnerships, and social events and trips.

Expected work schedule for the Tempe Social Media Intern :

• Flexible schedule

• Occasional evenings and/or weekends for specific events/projects

About the area and Responsibilities of a Tempe Social Media Intern

The Tempe Social Media Intern will (list not all inclusive):

• Aid in developing, implementing, and evaluating the annual social media calendar for IFI Tempe's social media platforms (primarily Instagram, Facebook and Youtube)
• Research and develop social media strategies, contests, and campaigns to be used by IFI Tempe
• Use Canva (and potentially other products) in the generation of planned social media content that engages audience segments and leads to measurable action
• Attend IFI Tempe events to take photos and film for content creation
• Edit videos, such as event recaps, to vividly express IFI's ministry to volunteers, donors, and international students on social media platforms
• Analyze social media performance and then suggest, test, and implement improvements to increase follower engagement online
• Developing flyers and other advertising tools for IFI events and activities

Qualifications needed of a Tempe Social Media Intern, including Spiritual Characteristics

• Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies
• Training, experience or certification in social media creation and management
• Well organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently
• Be a team player
• Proficient with technology (e.g. Canva, Adobe, Photoshop, Google applications)
