Perm opportunity - Underground Utility Superintendent

Pay: $80-120K + company vehicle +comprehensive benefit package

Location: Onsite (Site & Office) Hiring for multiple locations in Florida, must be able to travel

Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Underground Utility Superintendent to oversee the successful execution of complex pipeline projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale projects, including water, sewer, and storm drainage systems. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Oversee all aspects of project operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
• Manage project teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to achieve project goals and deadlines.
• Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, cost estimates, and change orders.
• Negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Identify and resolve project challenges and risks proactively.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in underground utility construction.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in underground utility construction as a foreman or superintendent.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale pipeline projects.
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with drafting, surveying, and contract negotiation is a plus.
• Civil contract experience a plus
• CDL license a plus
• Clean driving record
