Job Responsibilities
* Practice proper safety guidelines for yourself, support personnel, and patients.
* Foster teamwork through effective communication.
* Ensure a high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines.
* Maintain flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths.
* Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.

Required Skills & Experience
* Organized, efficient, and multifunctional.
* Ability to work independently.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication.
* Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Preferred Skills & Experience
* Ultrasound Sonographer experience.

Required Education
* Graduate of an accredited sonography or radiography program.

Required Certifications & Licensure
* Registry-eligible candidates must be ARDMS registered in either Vascular Technology (RVT) or RDMS (Abdominal or OB/GYN) within 6 months of employment (RVT preferred first) and both RVT and RDMS within 12 months of employment.
* Third certification (Abdominal or OB/GYN) completed within 18 months of employment.
* Employees that provide breast imaging are required to obtain RDMS (Breast) certification within 24 months of achieved competency.
* Employees hired for a role specific to vascular sonography, who are not eligible to apply for Abdomen and OB/GYN certifications, are exempt from the requirement of obtaining these registries.
* BLS certified.
