\n\nRadiology Technologist Qualifications\n

\n
• Valid General Radiographer certification (ARRT preferred)\n
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Rad Tech\n
• Proficiency in radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations\n
• Experience with MRI, CT, Dexa, and diagnostic imaging equipment\n
• Ability to operate and maintain radiology equipment\n
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a clinical setting\n

\n\nRadiology Technologist Responsibilities\n

\n
• Perform standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations using proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques\n
• Operate and adjust all radiology equipment within the modality, including MRI, CT, and Dexa scanners\n
• Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective equipment and devices\n
• Assess patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging\n
• Assist physicians with various radiology procedures as needed\n
• Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs or adjustments\n
• Maintain accurate records and notations related to radiology procedures\n
• Participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures\n
• Support the educational training of radiology students in the department\n
