Schedule Notes: Mon-Fri
Scrubs: Pewter gray
Description:
The ideal candidate will assist pathologists in the preparation and examination of surgical specimens and autopsies, maintain high standards for specimen processing, and ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality protocols.
Qualifications:
Education:
Master's Degree in certified Pathologists Assistant APP program. Required
Licensing/Certification:
Must meet Georgia licensure requirements
Certification from American Association of Pathologist Assistants (AAPA) required.
Certification or eligible for certification by American Association of Pathologist Assistants (AAPA) Upon Hire Required
ASCP Certification as a Pathologists’ Assistant (PA) required
BLS certification
Experience:
1 year experience
Needs to have experience with grossing all tissue types.
