• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2560–$2750\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 6, 2026)\n
• Healthcare Setting: Operating Room, Level II Trauma Center\n
• Shifts: 10-hour days (start at 07:00), with some 12-hour blocks; call required one day per week and one weekend per month\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n
• On-Call: One weeknight every other week; one or two weekends every 6 weeks; 30-minute response time\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Michigan or compact state\n
• BLS certification required\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience\n
• Clinical experience in General, Urology, GYN, Neuro, Ortho (total joints, sports medicine, trauma, podiatry), basic ENT, basic vascular, and robotic procedures\n
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting\n
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes when on call\n

\n\nOperating Room Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring safety and quality throughout all surgical procedures\n
• Assist with a wide range of surgeries, including trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and more\n
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals\n
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner EHR\n
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergency surgical cases\n
• Care for a diverse patient population, including adults, geriatrics, and occasional pediatric cases\n
