• Unit: Operating Room (OR), 29 beds\n
• Shift: 7:00am – 7:00pm, 12-hour day shifts\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Assignment Duration: 13-week travel contract (Start: 12/21/2025, End: 3/22/2026)\n
• Employment Type: Travel healthcare job\n
• Documentation System: Cerner EMR\n
• Scrubs Provided \n

\n\nOR Tech – First Assist Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 1 year recent experience as an Operating Room Technician or Surgical First Assist\n
• Valid certification: CSTFA, CFA, or RNFA\n
• Proven ability to assist surgeons in ortho trauma, ortho, spine, neuro, GYN, general, robotics, vascular, and other specialties\n
• Flexible scheduling and participation in call rotation\n
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills\n

\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

\n
• Assist surgeons during procedures including ortho trauma, neuro, spine, GYN, urology, general, robotics, vascular, pediatrics, ENT, plastics, podiatry, OMF, dental, and eye trauma\n
• Operate and maintain OR equipment, including Da Vinci, Mako, and Velys robotic systems\n
• Accurately document procedures and patient care using Cerner EMR\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and dress code (scrubs provided)\n
• Float to other hospital units as needed\n
