Job Title: Registered Nurse - PCU
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Wilmington, NC (Onsite) 
Contract Duration: 13 weeks Work Hours:Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
Total weekly hours: 36 RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 year
Traveler Experience: must have travel experience
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Certs: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: . Charge nurse experience and telemetry experience preferred. Stable trached ventilator management and pressor support experience preferred.

JOB DETAILS:
Ratios: 1:4.
Shift: Nights 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours.
RTO: 7 days MAX;
13-26 weeks accepted
Float Requirement: Float first from unit, definite float requirement and typically if floating to a lower level of care we would add 1 patient to the ratio. Travelers float first. There will also be storm team requirement.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

**Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Stroke, neuro medical

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): EPIC and Pyxis.

SCHEDULING TYPE: Self

UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 Hours

SCRUBS: Navy

Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
