Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Wilmington, NC (onsite)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Work Hours: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
Total Weekly Hours: 36RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 year - *MS/Ortho experience preferred
Traveler Experience: NOT REQUIRED
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: Management of dysrhythmias required O2 Protocol Management, Non-invasive airway management, Peripheral line care/management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Electronic charting (EPIC), Rapid Response Team Activation
Certs: BCLS

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: ACLS, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of drips,
Central line care/management, Blood products administration. MS/Ortho experience

JOB DETAILS:
Ratios: 1:6-7
Shift: 12Hr Nights. 36 hours only.
RTO: 7 days MAX
Call Requirement: NONE
Float Requirement: *Floating to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
