• Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210 (Ohio nursing jobs)\n
• Assignment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site\n
• Start Date: January 5, 2026\n
• End Date: April 6, 2026\n
• Duration: 13-week contract\n
• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts/week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours/week)\n
• Unit: Critical Care Float Pool (Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, NCCU)\n
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1940-$1990\n

\n\nQualifications – ICU Registered Nurse\n

\n
• Active RN license (Ohio or compact state)\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience\n
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications\n
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system\n
• IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management skills\n
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred\n
• Graduate of ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program\n
• Ability to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity\n
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)\n
• Two professional references (one from manager/director or formal leader)\n

\n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in adult ICU settings\n
• Float between Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Cardiology, CVICU, SICU, MICU, NCCU as needed\n
• Perform advanced critical care procedures: IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, arterial and central line care, emergency medication administration\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy)\n
• Care for patients with complex diagnoses: transplant (kidney, liver, lung, heart), neuro, cardiac, surgical cases\n
• Follow infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions\n
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR\n
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training\n
