\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts starting at 7:00 PM
\n• Every other weekend requirement (one weekend shift every two weeks)
\n• Required to work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday
\n• First to float to other med surg units as needed
\n• 3 weeks of orientation: 1 week classroom and 2 weeks unit orientation
\n• Patient ratios: 1:5 for med surg patients, 1:4 for chemo/tele patients
\n• Work on all Med Surg Tele Units with 27 beds total
\n• Must have charge nurse experience from last assignment
\n• No first-time travelers accepted
\n• Manager interview required
\n• Scrub color: Navy
\n• Use Cerner EMR system
\n• Remote telemetry monitoring with monitor techs
\n• Must report within 30 minutes if put on standby call
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS
\n• Strong central line experience required
\n• Must be comfortable teaching and providing compassionate patient care
\n• Care for general medical surgical patients, GYN, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, spine cases, joint procedures, and oncology patients
\n• Can accept pediatric patients over age 15
\n• Position blends charge nurse, clinical mentor, and manager responsibilities
\n• Provide on-shift leadership and serve as clinical resource
\n• Round on patients and address service or safety concerns
