\n \n Responsibilities\n An Ultrasound Tech must possess strong knowledge of anatomy and pathology, as well as excellent patient communication skills. Ultrasound Techs may work in hospitals, doctors' offices, diagnostic laboratories, outpatient care facilities, universities or other healthcare sites. Sonography jobs may include explaining the ultrasound procedure to patients, maintaining the ultrasound equipment, applying the ultrasound gel to the area being imaged, performing the ultrasound ensuring the transducer captures every section to be assessed, evaluating and interpreting images, and maintaining accurate records.\n \n Requirements\nAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-649403.
