** Transportation Aide / Van Driver**

** Spanish Hills Wellness Suites**

** Las Vegas, NV**

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Transport patients/residents with in the facility as well as outside the facility via the facility van/bus

* Escort patients/residents from assigned rooms to and from vehicles and appointments as needed

* Drive facility vehicles to transport patients/residents to and from appointments,

* Report any incidents, accidents, changes in patients/residents condition, requests, problems, and complaints to their supervisor.

**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:**

* Must have a high school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent

* Must have a Class (E) Drivers License

* Prior experience transporting patients/ residents for a hospital or nursing home is preferred

* Must be able to operate an automobile

* Must have a valid unencumbered drivers license in the state of operation (no motor vehicle violations including, but not limited to, Driving Under the Influence or other related charges)
