Job Description
DESCRIPTION
If you have a passion for sports, driving innovation, and operating in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment, then Amazon Advertising’s Traffic Coordinator of Live Sports is an amazing opportunity for a role that lies at the intersection of your interests. With broadcast agreements around the world including the NFL’s Thursday Night Football in the US and The English Premier League in the UK, Amazon Prime Video is delivering the future of Live Sports for our Prime customers. Live Sports on Amazon allows viewers to watch events on any device, including televisions, and across multiple distribution channels including Prime Video, Twitch and other first-party streaming apps. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Traffic Coordinator to develop and manage the scheduling of ad placements across our Live Sports media. The Traffic Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring flawless execution through operational excellence while balancing game formats, customer requirements, process limitations, and technical integrations. • Work with programming on formats for each event
• Gather creative information from creative team and/or advertisers for each event schedule

• Deliver event reports to Nielsen to ensure overnight reports are correct
• Troubleshoot ad scheduling issues and conduct post-event follow-up
• Assist various departments with report requests
• Dive into the DAI (Dynamic Ad Insertion) technical fulfillment process
• Lead post season retrospective meeting
• Develop scalable solutions to address key operational challenges and customer pain points
• Monitor events outside of regular hours to address any real-time issues
• Other duties as assigned
A day in the life
Amazon is unique to the sports broadcasting industry. You will be the traffic lead for specific sport properties to ensure all schedules are in sync with various teams. In between many meetings, each day will be filled with gathering pieces from various teams to build the schedule, refine each schedule, deliver to stakeholders, troubleshoot scheduling issues and conduct post event follow up while managing the odds and ends for each event. You will dive deep into the technical details of the DAI fulfillment process to gain a thorough understanding and collaborate with the DAI technical teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize the ad delivery workflow.
You will also monitor specific events in the evening and/or weekend to ensure schedules air as expected or troubleshoot issues in real-time.
You will support the growth of Amazon properties and need to quickly change your focus from one property to another. The traffic coordinator will be a “swiss army knife” on the Amazon Live Events traffic team.
