Job Description

Trading Engineer (PR/522588) Chicago, Illinois Salary: USD130000 - USD215000 per annum Your Core Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within proprietary trading applications.
Effectively communicate incident status and resolutions to users.
Monitor trading system performance, proactively identify problems, and deploy solutions.
Guarantee uptime and reliability of applications and systems during trading hours.
Develop automation tools and scripts to streamline operations.
Conduct detailed analysis on complex systems to determine root causes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system features and scalability.

Your Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of three years’ experience in application support or site reliability engineering.
Mandatory experience in a production Kubernetes environment.
Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting is required.
Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, databases such as SQL and MongoDB, is preferred.
Knowledge of CentOS or similar Linux distributions is advantageous.
