JOB SUMMARY

T&T Salvage, LLC, provides safe, high-quality, and cost-effective marine salvage, diving, vessel removal, and oil/hazardous material remediation services throughout the United States and internationally. We have several openings for commercial divers/tenders with experience in the following areas: salvage, marine construction, ships husbandry/hull cleaning, and pipeline inspection/abandonment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) or be able to attain it.
  • Must have a valid US Passport or be able to attain it.
  • Valid CPR/First Aid certification required.
  • Must be able to be away for extended periods of time.
  • A valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record are required for use of company vehicles.
  • Certification from an accredited commercial dive school (possess a valid commercial diver card, ADCI or IMCA certification).
  • Must maintain an approved Diving Physical and be evaluated as Fit for Diving.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works as assigned by the Diving Supervisor to ensure the safe and successful completion of all diving operations.
  • Setting up, maintenance, and repair of diving and support equipment.
  • Daily setup, breakdown, and clean-up of the workstation.
  • Ensure full understanding of the dive plan and be competent to carry out planned tasks.
  • Follows all safe diving procedures in accordance with the Diving Manual, Company Policies and Procedures, and applicable regulatory guidelines

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Requires the ability to wear the personal protective equipment (PPE) prescribed by posted signs and written instructions.

This position works in a non-climate-controlled shop setting, onboard vessels and outdoors in the field. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to noisy.
