Our family-owned H&R Block franchise, with offices in Falmouth, Mashpee, and Sandwich, is seeking dedicated Tax Preparer Assistants for multiple locations. As you support our office with diverse tasks and assist tax professionals by organizing and entering client data to streamline tax return preparation, you'll gain hands-on tax preparation skills , paving the way for a successful career as a tax professional .

Responsibilities:

• Enter client and W-2 information into tax software to initiate the tax interview process.
• Assist in finalizing tax interviews by preparing returns for client signatures and payment.
• Support tax professionals with client interactions and administrative tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills (in-person and written).
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems.
• Eagerness to learn tax preparation and pursue continuing education (CE).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in customer service or administrative roles.
