Job Description

The Northeast YMCA - Vickrey Ctr. is NOW on the lookout for great Summer Camp Counselors for our K-5th and Teen Summer Camp!! If you are at least 18 years or older, able to pass a Level 2 background screening, drug & tobacco screening and love working with children in a camp environment, this may be the job for you! We are looking for individuals to engage and interact with our children and have fun leading them in camp songs, indoor/outdoor games, STEAM projects, adventures, and other Summer camp activities. Individual must love children and be willing & able to stand and walk a lot to interact with children and attend the upcoming mandatory Summer Camp training on Thursday May 23rd and Friday May 24th.

Shift times may include: M-F 7:00am - 1:00pm, 12:00pm- 6:00pm, and a middle shift with varying hours.

Pay starts at $12.50 per hour with increases based on personal / professional experience.
