We’re growing our Substitute Teacher pool to support charter schools across Palm Beach County in anticipation of increased assignments this winter and spring!

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans provided by classroom teachers.
• Manage classroom behavior and promote a safe, inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Support learning across core subjects, including literacy, math, and science.
• Adapt to different grade levels and student needs, including special education.
• Communicate effectively with school administrators and staff.
• Maintain attendance and assignment notes for each placement.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring preferred.
• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Dependable, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working with students.
• Open to both short-term and long-term assignments.
