Description of Work As the CASNR (College of Agriculture and Natural Resources) Student Success Coach, you will contribute to the success of undergraduate students enrolled in the College.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively engaging with students through the college's academic success programming and CASNR CARES (Caring Attitudes and Respect for Every Student)
- Using provided university and college analytics and data to coordinate appropriate outreach and response using a variety of methods (i.e., in-person, email, text, phone, etc.) to targeted student populations
- Leveraging a community of collaborative relationships with student success stakeholders across the University to promote student persistence and academic success
- Coordinating college-level programming to increase sense of belonging, access, and success among all CASNR undergraduate students.

Minimum Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree plus two years of experience working with students, educators, and business professionals, in an advisory role required. Master's degree in student affairs, educational administration, counseling, or related fields may substitute for two years of experience.
- Demonstrated capacity for project management, writing, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of situations.
- Ability to use data to assist in decision making, advising software programs, student information systems, and common office technology software systems.
- Ability to work as an effective team member.
Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are preferred but not required:
- Master's degree in student affairs, educational administration, counseling, or related fields.
- Experience working at a post-secondary educational institution.
- Experience providing student success support for first generation, low-income, and/or minority college students.
- Demonstrated counseling skills.
- Experience working with diverse student populations in order to apply inclusive advising strategies.
