STATE PARK INTERPRETER I / NORTHERN BUTTES DISTRICT / VALLEY SECTOR / WILLIAM B. IDE ADOBE STATE HISTORIC PARK / RED BLUFF, CA

The reporting location for this position is the Northern Buttes District, William B. Ide Adobe State Historic Park Red Bluff, CA. This position will work under direction of the State Park Interpreter III.

This position is responsible for the planning, research, and development of interpretive projects, interpretation of historical concepts to the public, and directing the work of seasonal staff on interpretive projects and also include online educational programming, traditional tours, school group tours, event planning, volunteer management, education/research, community outreach, administrative duties, and lead work.

This position is designated as NOT Telework Eligible.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

Possession of a valid C class driver’s license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.
The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.

Working Conditions

Occasional travel may be required. Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.
