Job Description
Duties for the position include the following:
• Manage and review multiple sets of books in both desktop and QuickBooks, including but not limited to bank recs, coding of expenses, credit card reconciliations, and journal entries as needed
• Tying out equity from submitted client files
• Perform uploaded entries using templates
• Brokerage journal entries
• Managing the bookkeeping work queue
• Communicating with multiple tax managers on projects, status updates and workload
• Assisting clients with QuickBooks conversions to QBO
• Quarterly and annual payroll reporting
• Creation and filing of 1099s annually
• Daily time tracking by client of work performed
A qualified candidate will possess the following experience:
• Previously worked in a CPA firm a huge plus
• Experience managing a large workload
• Experience communicating status updates daily with internal and external parties
• QuickBooks certified
• 5-7 years bookkeeping experience
• The ability to work on multiple tasks, starting one, moving to another, coming back to the first, etc.
• Strong personality
