Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

In this role, you will support closed area IS systems (servers and workstations) configurations and ensure setup and functionality of the Domains, Active Directory, Group Policy, Virtual Environments, and Backup Solutions.

1. Primary tasks include directly assisting a team of IT personnel supporting internal customers, designing, implementing and managing lab infrastructure to meet project requirements, managing authentication, file-shares, and other collaboration servers to support groups of heterogeneous client systems.
2. Secondary tasks include working with the facility security staff to develop and apply hardening steps for said systems.

This role will require occasional off-hours responses to outages and participation in subsequent service restoration efforts.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Minimum of a High School Diploma. AS or BS degree in computer related fields preferred with 4 or more years of related System Administration experience.
• Secret Clearance is required.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification (must be currently active).
• General understanding of Active Directory, able to manage user accounts, shares, and computer objects in AD.
• Group Policy Management, ability to identify, modify and troubleshoot GPO settings.
• Troubleshooting and maintaining DHCP and DNS settings.
• BackupExec and VEEAM backup application usage and general knowledge.
• General understanding of NETAPP systems (NAS storage).
• Knowledge of security patching tools (WSUS) and/or script-based Microsoft patching techniques.
• Ability to manage McAfee/Trillix EPO2 anti-virus server operations.
• Ability to manage VMWare ESXi VM Servers; standing up new VMs, running and maintaining existing VMs.
• Customer service oriented, attentive to detail, self-motivated, and able to work well in teams. Flexibility in approach to finding solutions, understanding and acting on customer needs and priorities, and learning new technologies quickly are qualities of a successful candidate.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• AS or BS degree in computer related fields and a Top Secret Clearance.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95,106 - $161,680

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
