Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Splunk Architect for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC(Hybrid) . This role involves managing and expanding the Splunk environment, driving automation with CI/CD tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize software deployment and performance.
Rate Range: $65/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Splunk Architect job responsibilities include:
Managing, expanding, and upgrading the Splunk environment, ensuring high performance and sustainability.
Designing and implementing Splunk system architecture, including search head and indexer clustering topology.
Developing and maintaining automation tools for CI/CD workflows using tools like Terraform, OpenShift, and Bitbucket.
Collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to integrate automation tools into the software development lifecycle.
Identifying and addressing technical issues with automation tools and processes.
Driving implementation using Lean Agile methodology and ensuring continuous improvement in Splunk deployments.
Communicating effectively with technology and business teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Maintaining documentation for automation tools, processes, and Splunk configurations.
Required Qualifications:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
5+ years of expert-level experience as a Splunk Architect.
Strong hands-on experience with search head and indexer clustering topology, as well as shell scripting and system administration (Linux/Windows).
Proficiency in automation tools such as Terraform, OpenShift, and Bitbucket, with a solid understanding of CI/CD workflows.
