Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Must be able to work to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Assess clients' soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion.
- Treat clients in professional setting adhering to strict draping protocol
- Confer with clients about their health concerns, allergies and problems with stress or pain to determine any contraindications
- Perform all body/massage treatments on spa menu according to treatment protocol.
- Prepare products, supplies and equipment as required
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Achieve weekly retail sales goals
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
- High School Diploma required
- Hold a current Nevada State Board of Massage Therapist License.
- Minimum of 1 year experience performing massage and body treatments in spa environment is preferred but not required.
- Maintain all inventory items and supplies and communicate needs in advance
- Provide special assistance to all guest and groups, immediately take care of any customer complaints
- Prior experience working with the public preferred
- Must have ability to maintain composure under pressure situations
- Flexibility of shift and hours is necessary
- Must be willing to learn and work in additional areas
- Must train in all related treatments as created
- Ability to work with various related products and tools including scented and unscented oils, scrubs, crmes, gels and lotions, heated stones/shells and other bodywork tools as required
- Exceptional guest service skills, courtesy, professionalism skills are required
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Sit, walk, stand, (as required), push/pull, bend (at neck & waist), squat, kneel, and reach above/below shoulder level as required.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion as needed
- Simple grasping, fine hand manipulation and repetitive use of the hands is required to complete essential functions.
- Comply with hotel rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of Hotel facilities.
- Must display exceptional positive team player attitude.
Periodic Job Functions:
In addition to performance of essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of functions to be determined based upon the particular needs of the Hotel.
Attend and participate in meetings in order to be informed of new rules, regulations and procedures and to discuss scheduling and/or other concerns of the Hotel and/or department.
Safety & Regulations:
Provide a safe environment for customers and employees. Report emergencies to proper authorities.
Report all suspicious persons or activities and hazardous conditions to supervisor, security, or safety personnel.
Provide instruction and/or guidance for guest/employee safety in fire/emergency situations.
Abide by all State, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to alcoholic beverage service to minors and intoxicated guests.
Abide by all State and corporate regulations pertaining to the presence of minors in gaming areas.
Other duties as assigned within the scope of this job description.
