Job Description

As a Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of social media strategies. This position requires a strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, community management, and analytics. The Social Media Manager will assist in building brand awareness, engaging with the online community, and implementing social media campaigns to drive customer engagement and growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and customer loyalty.
  • Create and curate compelling and visually appealing content for social media platforms.
  • Monitor social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all social media channels.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive user-generated content and increase brand reach.
  • Conduct research on social media trends, industry best practices, and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Utilize social media management tools to schedule and publish content, as well as track and analyze key metrics.
  • Monitor social media conversations and sentiment, compiling reports and insights on brand perception and customer feedback.
  • Stay up to date on emerging social media platforms, features, and trends to identify opportunities for brand growth and engagement.
  • Support the Marketing team in managing relationships with influencers, partners, and agencies to execute collaborative campaigns.
  • Assist in the coordination of photo and video shoots for social media content creation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure seamless integration of social media initiatives with overall marketing strategies

Education, experience, and skills needed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years’ integrated marketing experience with a luxury brand in retail and wholesale.
  • Proven experience in managing social media platforms and executing social media campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for content creation.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with image editing tools.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving social media trends.
  • Passion for social media and staying up to date with industry developments.
  • Familiarity with the retail industry and luxury brands is a plus.
