Job Title: Administrative Assistant to the Minority Owner and Founder of United Global Technologies (UGT)

Job Type: Remote (Charlotte, NC area preferred for occasional in-person meetings)

Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Minority Owner and Founder of United Global Technologies (UGT). This role will be essential in managing the day-to-day administrative responsibilities, allowing the Founder to focus exclusively on driving the company's growth through sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Founder, managing all aspects of their calendar, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing communication, including emails, phone calls, and correspondence on behalf of the Founder.
  • Coordinate and prioritize daily tasks, ensuring the Founder's day runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and follow up on action items to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Manage personal and business tasks such as invoicing, reporting, organizing files, and maintaining confidential information.
  • Coordinate travel logistics, including booking flights, hotels, and ground transportation.
  • Assist with special projects as needed, offering administrative support to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Anticipate the Founder's needs and proactively address issues before they become obstacles.
  • Organize and facilitate regular weekly or monthly in-person meetings, if candidate is located near Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Executive or Administrative Assistant in a fast-paced environment, ideally working closely with a C-level executive.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and cloud-based tools (Google Workspace, Dropbox, etc.).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Ability to travel to Charlotte, NC, for occasional in-person meetings (preferred but not required).
