Job Description

Job Summary: As a Shopify Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our Shopify stores. You will work closely with our marketing, design, and product teams to create a seamless online shopping experience for our customers. Your expertise in Shopify's platform, coding, and user experience design will be essential to the success of our e-commerce initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Shopify stores, including front-end and back-end development.
• Customize Shopify themes to meet business requirements and create a unique user experience.
• Implement and customize third-party apps and integrations as needed.
• Optimize store performance, speed, and efficiency.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
• Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps and integrations.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to improve user experience and site functionality.
• Monitor website analytics and implement strategies to improve conversion rates and user engagement.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce and Shopify development.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the Shopify stores.
• Document code and development processes for reference and future use.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
• Experience with Shopify's platform, themes, and APIs.
• Knowledge of third-party integrations, plugins, and apps for Shopify.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
