Web Seal is seeking a full-time shipping and receiving clerk to join our Order Fulfillment team.Position:Physically active position, critical to assuring that products are shipped properly and arrive on time. Requires highly motivated individual with strong professional skills able to work both independently and as part of a team. Does NOT require the use of a fork lift.Responsibilities - General: Perform all work safely, following OSHA, Web Seal, and other safety guidelines. Incorporate total quality and continuous improvement principles into daily work routine. Help maintain department and facility cleanliness and organization. Be on time; notify Operations Manager ASAP of any unexpected delays or absences.Responsibilities - Shipping: Ship products locally, nationally, and internationally using UPS, FedEx, DHL, Truck Freight, and local courier services, with all required paperwork. Ensure that the right product in the right quantity ships at the right time to the correct shipping address, every time. Pick products accurately from inventory and pack appropriately for delivery. Generate computer packing lists and product labels, and ship via designated carrier. Sort and store inventory accurately in a safe, orderly and timely manner. Count and package product using digital weigh scale. Complete special shipping projects assigned by Operations Manager.Responsibilities - Receiving: Sign for all incoming product and material at the loading dock. Physically open and inspect all incoming packages and confirm that contents match the packing list; immediately notify Operations Manager of any discrepancies. Enter incoming shipments into the computer using the company's ERP software program. Create and apply identifying labels for all incoming product, per company protocol. Place all received and labeled product into inventory in assigned locations.Job Qualifications: 1+ years of shipping/receiving experience Proven record of excellent attendance Strong background of organizational skills and accurate record-keeping Good computer and basic math skills Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
