**Server Engineer, Trust and Safety**

at Strava San Francisco, CA, Remote (US), Denver, CO ****About the role****

Stravas Trust and Safety team is looking for an early career, backend-focused engineer to help us build the tools and experiences that make the Strava platform an inclusive and trusted community. As a member of our team, you'll be working with a cross-functional group of engineers, product managers, designers, researchers, and analysts to keep our community engaged and safe. You will improve existing features and design new ones, both on the web and via the API that supports our mobile apps, and you will also build the capabilities that enable other product teams within Strava to ensure that their work meets the highest standards for user trust and safety.

* Have experience building production software in languages including (but not limited to) Ruby, Scala, Python, Java, etc.

* Are comfortable with client-server interactions, have a solid understanding of data structures, and basic familiarity with microservice architectures.

* Have worked in a collaborative environment where you review code from your peers and foster technical growth.
