Salary: $89,700 - 162,150 per year Requirements:

• I hold a Bachelor's degree and/or have 12+ years of relevant experience in a Windows/Linux server environment. Additional experience, education, and training may substitute for a degree.
• I possess experience with Windows, Linux, and Solaris Servers, with proficiency in at least one.
• I have extensive experience working in virtual environments using VMware and VDI practices.
• I have an active Top Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI is required for this role.
• I currently possess DoD 8570 certification at least IAT level II, such as Security+ce.

Responsibilities:

• I provide senior-level expertise for the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment.
• I serve as the Subject Matter Expert regarding all VDI-related issues and requirements.
• I offer support for ticket escalation during significant outages.
• I thrive in a fast-paced environment when necessary.
• I provide strategic leadership and insights with development partners to ensure our customers adapt to emerging needs and technological advancements.
• I lead the onboarding and establishment of new enclaves and environments as required.
• I interact with Tier III support and assess vendor products.
• I develop and monitor policies and standards concerning the allocation of computing resources.
• I create, maintain, and implement comprehensive documentation and standard operating procedures.
• I apply security settings and other commercial best practices.
• I provide coaching and review the work of junior technical staff.

The Defense group at Leidos has an opening for a System Administrator on a DISA contract. This position is primarily located on the customer site at Ft Meade, MD, where I will support systems related to the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS).

Preferred Qualifications:

- I have experience integrating cybersecurity tools and systems with network performance, trouble ticketing, and security subsystems, which is highly desirable.
- A thorough understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, is a plus.
- I have experience using a ticketing system such as ServiceNow.
- I am ITIL v3 Foundation certified.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $89,700.00 - $162,150.00. At Leidos, this pay range serves as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation.
