Position Overview: As a Senior Natural Processing (NLP) Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in developing and deploying advanced NLP models and algorithms. Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of NLP models and systems, leveraging techniques such as distributed computing and GPU acceleration. Domain Adaptation: Adapt pre-trained models to specific domains or use cases, fine-tuning model parameters and architectures as needed. Feature Engineering: Identify and engineer relevant features from raw textual data to improve model performance and predictive accuracy. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to deliver end-to-end NLP solutions that meet customer requirements. Research and Innovation: Stay informed about the latest advancements in NLP research and technology, exploring innovative approaches and techniques to enhance NLP solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. 5+ years of experience in NLP engineering, with a focus on developing and deploying NLP models and algorithms. Proficiency in programming such as Python, and expertise in NLP libraries and frameworks such as NLTK, spaCy, Transformers, or AllenNLP. Strong understanding of NLP techniques and algorithms, including word embeddings, sequence labeling, and text classification. Experience with deep learning architectures for NLP tasks, such as recurrent neural networks (RNNs), convolutional neural networks (CNNs), and transformer models. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and experience with containerization and orchestration technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, with a passion for tackling complex NLP challenges. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
