Senior Interior Designer Location: Berwyn, PA Job Description Michelle Wenitsky Interior Design, a boutique interior design firm located on Philadelphia's Main Line, seeks a seasoned, passionate, energetic Interior Designer with a minimum 5 years of full-time professional residential experience to start immediately.
The ideal applicant is experienced in all aspects of the design process from design, sourcing, purchasing, tracking, and installation for high-end residential projects.
Job Requirements - Ability to work independently & proactively with teams in a fast-paced environment
- Design, select, specify and propose furniture, cabinetry, window covering, fabric/trim, wall covering, ceiling treatment, floor covering, lighting, plumbing fixtures, hardware & accessories
- Excellent communication skills to liaison between principal, clients, vendors, contractors & employees
- Proficiency with software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent drawing skills with equally great coordination on custom bespoke furniture
- Full knowledge & experience to create furniture proposals, PO's, and invoices
- Great organization skills to oversee, track, and install furnishings for several projects on multiple deadlines
- Ability to manage workflow & task effectively
- Very organized & detail oriented
