This role is onsite daily in our Charlotte, NC office. The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in a fast-paced financial services environment. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The Executive Assistant will serve as a key liaison between the CRO, internal stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication within the Risk Management function.
Manage the CRO's calendar, schedule meetings, coordinate appointments, and arrange travel logistics. Prepare, review, and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents for the CRO. Organize and coordinate meetings, including Risk Committee meetings, board presentations, and cross-functional sessions; prepare agendas, take minutes, and track action items. Screen and prioritize incoming communications, responding on behalf of the CRO as appropriate. Maintain confidential files and records related to risk management, compliance, and regulatory matters. Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and documentation. Coordinate with other executive assistants and departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow. Support special projects and initiatives led by the CRO, including risk assessments, audits, and strategic planning. Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely completion. Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality. May produce expense reports for department. May process invoices for payment. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. 5+ years of experience as an executive assistant, preferably in financial services or a regulated industry. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual meeting platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Familiarity with risk management, compliance, or regulatory environments is a plus.
