Senior Director, Business Development – CDMO Service Job Summary: Xseer Pharmaceuticals is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Business Development specializing in CDMO services to drive significant growth in our sterile injectable manufacturing offerings. This pivotal role will leverage extensive pharmaceutical industry relationships and strategic expertise to expand our client base, strengthen market presence, and secure long-term business partnerships. As a senior leader, you will guide strategic initiatives, represent Xseer Pharmaceuticals externally, and collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure comprehensive client satisfaction from initial outreach through contract execution. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Business Development: Develop, implement, and manage strategic plans focused on expanding our CDMO client portfolio. Leverage existing industry contacts to identify, engage, and secure significant business contracts. Lead the negotiation and finalization of strategic partnerships and substantial manufacturing agreements. Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and industry influencers to drive new business opportunities. Act as primary liaison between potential clients and internal teams (Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs) to facilitate seamless project onboarding and execution. Continuously seek opportunities for client expansion and upselling additional services. Industry Representation and Market Intelligence: Represent Xseer Pharmaceuticals at leading industry events, conferences, trade shows, and networking engagements. Monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments to proactively position Xseer Pharmaceuticals advantageously within the industry. Internal Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align business development strategies with operational capabilities and quality assurance standards. Provide strategic insights and feedback to leadership teams to drive continuous improvement and competitive positioning. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or relevant) strongly preferred. Minimum of 10 years’ business development experience, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry or leading CDMOs. Proven success in securing substantial contracts for sterile injectable manufacturing services. Demonstrable high-level industry contacts and an established reputation in pharmaceutical business development. Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks, cGMP requirements, and CDMO operations. Exceptional negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills: Prior leadership role within a large pharmaceutical or prominent CDMO environment. Track record in strategic partnership development and high-value deal closure. Familiarity with contract lifecycle management and strategic client onboarding.
