Job Details Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
2. Participating in regular tax audits and payroll.
3. Preparing budgeting reports and forecasting revenue.
4. Enhancing and implementing financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems.
5. Conducting thorough reviews of financial data, report and audit findings.
6. Ensuring compliance with the law and the company’s policies.
7. Managing and mentoring junior staff in the Accounting department.
8. Liaising with internal departments, stakeholders, and external auditors.
9. Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
10. Contributing to decisions regarding financial strategy and steps to increase profitability.

Qualifications:

1. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 3+ years of experience.
2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
3. Proven experience in the healthcare or public accounting industry is a plus.
4. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Familiarity with financial accounting statements and experience with accounting software.
6. Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
7. Excellent numerical skills with an attention to detail.
8. Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
9. Strong analytical ability to manage large amounts of data.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
12. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
