As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Golden, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a food and beverage production environment. Your presence and professionalism help to deter security-related incidents, and you will conduct routine patrols while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This post requires you to be armed, and you will also perform driving duties as part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to the unique needs of a food and beverage production environment.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter potential security-related threats.
• Work collaboratively with client staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or license.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
