As a Security Officer Armed Clearance Patrol Driver in Culpeper, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with personnel, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a location serving the aerospace and defense sector.
  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by maintaining a visible presence and responding to inquiries.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering secure areas.
  • Report and document any unusual occurrences, incidents, or security-related concerns as required by site procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including evacuation and lockdown procedures.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed in response to incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by law.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
