As a Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Windsor, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence at a government location. In this armed and driving position, you will help to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming environment through outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out armed patrols within the assigned government location to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter, monitoring for suspicious behavior and/or security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures when performing duties and during emergency response activities.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals on site, addressing concerns, and directing them as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to maintain a professional presence.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client requirements.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
