School Social Worker (FMLA Coverage)

Location: La Grange, IL

Grade Level: K-6th grade

Start Date: January 7th - May 28th, 2026

Schedule: 8:15-3:15 pm

Hourly Range: $45-$56 per hour

About the Opportunity

AnthroMed Education is excited to partner with a supportive and welcoming school district in La Grange, IL, to bring on a full-time School Social Worker for an FMLA coverage role. This is a fantastic district known for its collaborative culture and supportive leadership, making it an ideal placement for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact while feeling valued and supported.

This is a small school setting with just 190 students total and a very manageable caseload of fewer than 20 students with IEP minutes. With no specialized programming and your own office space onsite, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on what matters most: supporting students’ growth and success.

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct and consultative social work services for students.
• Support social, emotional, and behavioral development in individual and small group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to promote student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor progress.
• Offer crisis intervention and student support as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work.
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker Endorsement in IL required.
• Previous school-based experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and cultural competence.
