School Social Worker (2 Openings)

Burbank, IL – K–8 School
Start: ASAP through May 27, 2026
Schedule: 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM | Full-Time, Onsite | Monday–Friday
Rate: $45–$56/hour

About the Role

We are seeking two full-time School Social Workers to support students across K–8 grade levels in a highly collaborative, specialized school setting. These positions serve students in self-contained programs, including the STAR (Autism) Program and Multi-Needs classrooms. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers, related service providers, and support staff to provide individual, small group, and classroom-based social-emotional support. IEP experience is required.

Caseload & Support

Caseloads will be finalized upon hire. You will work with students with moderate to severe cognitive disabilities, including both verbal and nonverbal learners.

Qualifications

• Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement

• Experience with IEP development and implementation

• Previous experience in self-contained or specialized programs preferred (not required)
