Custodian - Full Time
Celebrate the Children School is pleased to announce we have an opening for a School Custodian for the 2024-2025 school year. Celebrate the Children is a well-respected, non-profit, state-approved private school for children with alternative learning styles that has been providing quality education services to the community for over twenty years. At Celebrate the Children our School Custodians are surrounded by staff who are caring, compassionate, and dedicated to our program philosophy.
Requirements for a School Custodian:
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, waxing etc.
Washing (windows, walls, desks, blackboards, floors, doors, bathrooms)
Empty and clean trash receptacles
Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, toilet paper
Rearrange furniture and transport and deliver educational materials
Carry out both written and oral instructions
Operate floor machines, buffers, and carpet-cleaning equipment
Maintain cooperative working relationships
Other custodian-related duties assigned by the administration
Furniture assembly/minor repairs
Snow removal
Ground work maintenance around campus
Prior experience in maintenance/repair work is preferred but not required.
