Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a school district to hire a School Art Teacher to work in Saint Louis, Missouri. As a school professional with SHC, you’ll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as an Art Teacher. School Art Teacher Contract Details:

• $40 – $43 an hour
• Art Teacher / Art Therapist
• 2025-2026 School Year
• Schedule: 4 hours per week
• Start Date: August 2025
• End Date: May 2026
• Location: In-person
  Recommended Experience/Skills:
• Prior experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic art techniques and their application in working with diverse populations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues,
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Will be required to prepare students for standardized testing per state guidelines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the school as well as student guardians

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Art Therapy (ATR) or Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) or equivalent certification in Missouri
• Prior experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic art techniques and their application in working with diverse populations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues,
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
