The SaaS Engineering organization within the Cisco Networking Group is committed to revolutionizing the deployment of generative AI applications. Our mission is to improve IT visibility and deliver comprehensive analytics for the AI infrastructure stack. By using ground-breaking technologies, we are developing next-generation SaaS-based controllers designed to efficiently manage Data Centers with AI/ML solutions.
In this role, you will collaborate with Cisco's highest technical experts, including Principal Engineers, Distinguished Engineers, Distinguished Architects, and Fellows, while leading a diverse team of software developers at different levels. You will work closely with experienced product management leaders to assess market needs and define feature requirements. Additionally, you will interact with stakeholders across Cisco in AI, Data Center Networking, and Security.
You are a seasoned leader with a robust background in driving the execution of end-to-end application development, encompassing user interfaces, cloud services, and backend data management. Your ability to translate design and architectural strategies to diverse teams sets you apart. Your strong communication skills allow you to excel in managing challenging conversations with technical experts, demonstrating your solid interpersonal skills to drive alignment and convergence towards organizational objectives.
In this role, you will use your skills to influence the creation of next-generation SaaS-based controllers for Service Provider, Data Center, and AI/ML network infrastructure. As a senior software development manager, you will drive backend feature development from requirement analysis and scoping to design execution and deployment in a CI-CD cloud service pipeline. You will define the technical roadmap and backend services in collaboration with product management to meet market and customer requirements. You will lead a team of talented engineers to deliver high-quality features on time while driving innovation and technical excellence. Your key responsibilities will include:
