Our client, a global leader in delivering cutting-edge software solutions and analytics tools, is seeking a skilled Remote Revenue Accountant to oversee the monthly billing and revenue processes specifically for their SaaS product line. In this pivotal role, you'll manage key accounting functions, including intercompany transactions, supplier billing and financial reconciliations, while ensuring precise contract analysis and compliance with industry standards.

Remote Revenue Accountant Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly client billing processes and revenue accounting specifically for SaaS offerings, ensuring accurate and timely billing cycles
• Enter supplier bills for both US and international entities, streamlining vendor management in a SaaS environment
• Calculate and record month-end revenue accruals, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and intercompany entries, adhering to SaaS revenue recognition standards
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and verify financial accuracy, maintaining robust financial health across all SaaS operations
• Analyze contracts to ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance with ASC 606 for SaaS revenue recognition
• Resolve client and supplier inquiries promptly, collaborating on process improvements to enhance the SaaS billing experience
• Support audits, internal controls, and financial reporting as needed, ensuring transparency and accuracy in all financial transactions

Remote Revenue Accountant Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 1+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS company.
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles, particularly ASC 606.
• Proficient in Excel (including pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, and macros) to handle complex financial data effectively.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.
