### Job Summary: Release Manager


**Position:** Release Manager
**Location:** Dallas TX Onsite


**Responsibilities:**
Build reports based on software adoption using BI tools.
Manage risks and resolve issues affecting release scope quality and schedules.
Plan release windows and cycles across portfolios and components.
Manage relationships involved in interrelated processes.
Communicate crucial release plans and changes.
Coordinate processes between different teams potentially in various locations.
Communicate necessary release details to business teams.
Manage plan and negotiate release activities.
Initiate and oversee progressive release processes.
Coordinate enterprise release content and efforts based on OS updates and thirdparty apps.
Produce deployment implementation and run book plans.
Conduct release readiness and milestone reviews.
Maintain release schedules for core services ensuring alignment with major vendors and stakeholders.
Work with release engineers to understand code merges and branch ramifications.
Lead and coordinate checklist and deployment plan execution.
Develop automation and release management tools and scripts for construction continuous integration and software deployment.
Research new software development methods and techniques to manage configurations according to business needs.
Ensure releases operate as expected.
Ensure clear requirements across dependent project streams for effective releases.
Oversee the development of technical guides and training for external functionality.
Manage the development of deliverables into production environments.
Validate release notes.
Manage deployment of deliverables to the test environment ensuring external dependencies are available during test runtime.


**Qualifications:**
Excellent programming skills and experience.
Ability to handle software infrastructure and configuration management.
Degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
26 years of experience with project or release management tools.
Expert understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Structured thinking.
Experience in coordinating crossfunctional work teams to task completion.
