Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to assist with activities surrounding Performance Improvement, Risk Management, and Joint Commission Survey readiness and response for Eastern Shore Hospital Center, supporting the mission of providing safe, patient-centered, cost-effective care. Duties will include but not limited to: data collection and analysis, providing feedback based on findings, and assisting in ongoing improvement activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Nursing under the licensing requirements for Registered Nurses.

Experience: None.

Licenses, Registrations and Certifications

• Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland State Board of Nursing, 4140 Patterson Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21215 or possess a current multi?state license in primary states of residence.
• May be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle; must possess a valid Motor Vehicle Operators license in Maryland.
• May be required to successfully complete and maintain current certification of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training.

Special Requirements

• Employees are subject to call?in; must provide the facility with a phone number at which they can be reached.
• Employees are subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations 17.04.09.
