Position Title: Recruiting Coordinator

Reports To: Global Director of Talent Acquisition

Employment Type: Contract (with potential for temp-to-hire based on performance)

Location: Hybrid; based in Chicago, IL (1-2 days in-office weekly, flexible schedule)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Recruiting Coordinator to provide dedicated support to the Global Director of Talent Acquisition. This is a newly created role designed to streamline recruiting operations, enhance organizational efficiency, and contribute to broader talent acquisition initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong business acumen, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for recruitment and talent development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, working closely with Executive Assistants and internal teams to ensure seamless logistics.
  • Collect and track interview feedback, maintaining clear and concise documentation for decision-making.
  • Organize and maintain recruiting records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Support intern programs, junior-level recruitment, and special hiring initiatives.
  • Manage documents, reports, and data related to recruitment projects and activities.
  • Assist in keeping the Global Director of Talent Acquisition organized, helping prioritize tasks and manage workflows.
  • Participate in broader talent acquisition projects as needed, with opportunities for growth into junior recruiting responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in HR, recruiting, or a related field; strong internship experience may substitute for work experience.

Additional Information:

  • Schedule: Flexible 40-hour workweek. Start time can be adjusted based on collaboration with the Global Director (starting around 8 AM EST).
  • Compensation: $31 - $35.50 per hour (contract). If converted to full-time, the annual salary is $75,000 - $90,000.
