Real Estate Capital Markets Litigation Associate Attorney (3–4 Years)
Location: New York, NY
Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Capital Markets Litigation Associate Attorney to join a nationally recognized law firm with a leading real estate practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level associate to handle sophisticated real estate litigation matters within a collaborative, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in commercial foreclosure litigation , creditor’s rights , and commercial landlord-tenant disputes .
Handle motion practice, discovery (including e-discovery), and other aspects of litigation.
Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and supporting documents with precision and proper New York citation formatting.
Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on complex real estate disputes.
Qualifications:
3–4 years of commercial litigation experience , preferably with exposure to real estate or financial services litigation.
Experience with commercial foreclosure litigation and creditor’s rights preferred; experience in related real estate litigation matters will also be considered.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent academic credentials.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
The expected annual salary range is $260,000–$310,000 , commensurate with experience.
