Physics , Chemistry, Math, Reading Instructors, Digital SAT/ACT and Subject Tutoring
This is an opportunity to get experience at a remediation and enrichment learning center with opportunities for growth! We have been helping students since 1977.

If we like your work you can be promoted to Program Coordinator, Education Director, Assistant Director, Enrollment Director, Management Trainee, Program Manager, etc.

Med school students that are prepping for MCAT are the tutors are welcome to apply we have a great symbiotic relationship with them because they can tutor 3 subjects. We have had a history of helping them increasing their MCAT scores by teaching the SAT for us! Recently one of our tutors went from 85 percentile on MCAT to 99 percentile. He ended up being accepted at Yale University.


You can teach math and or reading and science:

• Are you med school student prepping for the MCAT? 
• Are you a full time or substitute teacher looking for a part-time job?
• Are you a current or retired teacher looking for an additional paid way to be involved in the education field?
• Are you currently in your Senior year of your Bachelors work and looking for some rewarding job experience?
• Do you have a passion for Chemistry and/or Math and or Reading?

There are no lesson plans, grading, or other work for you to do outside of the classroom. All you do is teach small groups 2 to 4 kids. 

 
After a training period (paid), you will spend all your time TEACHING.

Our previous tutors went on to have important jobs in education - advancement chances to supervisor, management positions within 8-12 months. The program works and delivers great measurable results -- we are the gold standard for test prep, subject tutoring, and remediation for reading and math!

PREPARE STUDENTS FOR Regents, AP's, THE ACT and SAT! 2 openings.
We will train you with pay to use our materials, methods, and strategies that work.
Our previous students have typically shown dramatic increases in their scores (250+ SAT and 5+ ACT).

What we are looking for:

• Graduate students, current teachers, retired professionals, engineers professionals, and college students (seniors) are welcome to apply. Certification is a plus but not necessary for certain positions.
• Experience with teaching is desirable.
• Commitment to excellence.
• This is not a temporary gig we are looking for people that can stick around and commit to teaching students.
• Dependability.
• Professionalism.

Other Details:

• Availability between 4 and 8 pm weekdays and 9 am to 1 pm Saturdays and dependability (at least 10-12/hours week of availability) we have a somewhat flexible schedule and a healthy environment - teachers love working for us and seeing students progress... our program works. We are looking for in-center tutors primarily can be in Rochester, NY.
• Starting pay is $17-23/hour. 
• We may have remote positions available if you are not within 20 miles of us but come from a prestigious school.
• We are open M-F 4:00-8:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
